When It’s The Game’s Business

When Vince is gone, either because the XFL takes up all his time or he passes away(and let's be honest, it's gonna be the latter, you can't say Vince is lazy in a working sense, creatively…) is there anyone or anything stopping HHH and Steph from running the main brand shows like HHH runs NXT, like Kevin Dunn, the shareholders, anything like that? I can't see a world where Trips doesn't try to make Raw and Smackdown like NXT on a bigger stage when he has full control of the company.

I don't pretend to understand the actual power structure because it's tied into Vince himself, but as far as I've made out, Stephanie would inherit the actual business and HHH would be tapped to actually run it. Kevin Dunn would likely be the first one up against the wall when the revolution comes, so he's not stopping anyone. Regardless, with Vince gone, there's still a bazillion writers and producers filtering the content so it's not like HHH can just go in there and run things 100% how he wants. Especially if rumors hold true and someone like Disney swoops in and buys the company after Vince dies.
