Cody as a babyface champion

Hi Scott.

Ignoring all the Real World bullshit surrounding Cody Rhodes & his handling of All-In (who was/wasn't booked, making history, etc). Just on a pure kayfabe level did his NWA title victory make no sense to you as a babyface victory either?

It was a match he booked. He assigned the worlds most famous corrupt referee to the match. Aldis did not cheat at all. Hebner should have counted Rhodes out & DQ'd him several times but refused. Brandi got involved right in front of Hebners eyes and saved Cody. DDP even ran in and attacked Aldis.

If this was a HHH title win, people would be shitting all over it for being too over the top heelish & overbooked

Yeah but it was HIS show and it was filled with people there to see him. Look, we know people from Chicago are a bunch of degenerate scum with no redeeming value, because they produced CM Punk and cheered for a guy named "The Villain". It's just science.
