Did HBK, who always seemed to get injured before doing a job, pull the ultimate, if not unintentional, HBK move by missing in ring action from 98-02? Surely he’s eating pins from Austin, Rock, Triple H, etc if he stayed, right?

​It certainly does seem as though his stature remained much higher by leaving than it would have been by staying, yes. Of course, fused vertebrae is not the ideal way to pull it off.​
