Since Randy Savage showed repeatedly he could draw much better as a heel rather than a face, why did both the WWF and WCW keep him as babyface from mid ’91-early ’97? Was it the Slim Jim deal keeping him from turning heel?

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. That was a BIG money deal.
