–Vince McMahon recaps Men on a Mission beating down the Smoking Gunns back in March because both teams are facing each other in today’s feature match.

–Opening Contest: Bob Holly (9-7-1) pins Mike Bell with a small package at 2:27:
For the second straight match, Bell acquits himself well, getting in a good chunk of offense and scoring a near-fall from a backbreaker. McMahon talks about WWF President Jack Tunney stepping down, which happened when the WWF decided to cut ties with Tunney as its promoter in Toronto. Holly outwrestles Bell down the stretch of this match, taking advantage of Bell putting his head down too early on a whip and small packaging him for another win.
–Footage of Henry Godwinn drinking his slop on last week’s show and later dumping it on Adam Bomb is played. Bomb then cuts a promo saying that Godwinn has made a big mistake and total destruction awaits him. Godwinn rebuts by saying that he slops all hogs the same way. This segment illustrated why Bomb was not given a live mic very much during this period as his promo sounded forced and unauthentic.
–Jean-Pierre LaFitte (10-0-1) beat Nick Barberi after Le Cannonball at 2:34:
Adam Hanzel is the guest ring announcer for this match, a teenager with a bowl cut. McMahon talks about how the crowd hates LaFitte despite the fact that he gets several standing ovations from fans on the hard camera after hitting Barberi with a somersault plancha and hurricanrana. LaFitte’s squashes are quickly becoming a highlight on these shows. Now he just needs a decent feud to start moving up the card.
–Stephanie Wiand provides the live news report, with Sid and Jeff Jarrett hyping a bout against Diesel and Shawn Michaels at Madison Square Garden on August 12.
–Footage of Bam Bam Bigelow’s altercation with Henry Godwinn on RAWand his loss to Sid because of Godwinn is shown.
–McMahon puts over the WWF’s participation in the Special Olympics in New Haven, Connecticut.
–Hakushi (w/Shinja) (20-1) defeats Jeff Hardy via submission to a cross armbreaker at 2:54:
Although the styles of both men should lend themselves to a very aerial encounter, Jeff is merely enhancement talent at this time and Hakushi was working a deliberate style so that he would not get cheered by a good chunk of the fan base. As a result, Hakushi takes his time dismantling Jeff, and opts to finish with a submission hold, continuing to mix up his finishers as 1995 progresses.

–Men on a Mission (15-2) beat The Smoking Gunns (14-2-1) after Mabel pins Billy Gunn after a belly-to-belly suplex at 7:41 shown:
After waiting for four months, this is the Smoking Gunns opportunity to get revenge for Men on a Mission turning heel at their expense on The Action Zone. The match is not as good as their encounter back in March, with Men on a Mission working a slower style after they counter some early domination by the Gunns. The Gunns appear set to win after a double bulldog on Mabel but Mo manages to toss Bart out of the ring and Billy cannot beat Mabel one-on-one, causing the Gunns to lose their first match of the year to a team that is not Owen Hart and Yokozuna. Rating: **
–Stephanie Wiand does another Live Event News segment, with Diesel and Shawn Michaels cutting a promo against Sid and Jeff Jarrett for Madison Square Garden. Both men cut a juvenile promo that discusses how Sid must have been bullied in high school and making Batman references.
–The Isaac Yankem vignette that aired on RAW is replayed.
–Tune in next week to see Duke Droese square off against Hunter-Hearst Helmsley. Also, Waylon Mercy will be in action!
The Last Word: The action on some of the shows is getting really abbreviated in favor of recap and promo segments, a sign that the company was reducing parts of the roster (or preparing to do so) after drawing less than stellar houses for its live events and getting disappointing buy rates for its pay-per-views. The tag team match was solid and it would appear that the Allied Powers might get the tag team titles at In Your House and Men on a Mission could become their first challengers.
