The Barry Horowitz push

What was the deal with the Barry Horowitz push in 1995? Were they desperate for people to put over? Was it some kind of rib on Barry? Or both of those things? What’s weird is that he got pretty over only for them to abort the push pretty quickly out of nowhere.

They were just copying a story that worked in Florida and later again in Global. There was never any longer term goal or plan with him.
