Syllables for success in the WWE

To be a success it turns out you need a three-syllable name. They lend themselves easily to fan chants and grandiose ring announcements. It’s even better if your first name is one syllable and your second name is two: Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose.

You can still have success if your three-syllable name doesn’t follow the one-two pattern: Triple H, JBL, CM Punk, AJ Styles.

If my theory is correct, we can expect big things from, amongst others, Luke Harper and Chad Gable. Sadly, Shinsuke Nakamura is doomed.
