Is it safe to say Regal was ahead of the curve with the styles of wrestling being portrayed today? He was a originator of that stiff catch as can stuff but in 2001, that style was boring the shit of the crowds. Probably cause they were still trained on the attitude era style. Right guy, wrong era huh?

​No, Regal is fantastic and worked well in WCW before that. The problem is more likely that he went to complete shit as a worker for years because of his drug issues. It really wasn’t until he cleaned up completely that he found his second wind as a great worker again.​
