Sneak Attack/Beatdown

Hey Scott.

Does the beatdown/sneak attack get any heat anymore? I watched some of the shows before and after Mania, and in just a few weeks I saw:

-AJ Styles launch Shane through a car window, head first
-Samoa Joe attacking Seth Rollins
-HHH attacking Seth Rollins with a crutch
-Barin Corbin attack Dean Ambrose with a forklift
-Kevin Owens ramming Jericho’s head into a TV monitor, head first
-Braun Strowman attack Roman Reigns
-Braun Strowman attack an ambulance
-Maybe the Miz attacked Cena, I can’t remember (but I did kind of dig his skits because it was something different)

I’m not saying these things don’t work, but several per show, week after week, kind of burns you out. Any solutions? Or am I an old man who longs for the days when guys could get you hyped for a match with just a few promos?

​Hey man, if you don’t think that Strowman’s attack was effective and/or memorable, I don’t know what to tell you. That shit pretty much made him into a main event guy in one night.

As for the rest, it’s just a symptom of too much TV and too much time to fill. Eventually you start repeating things over and over because there’s three hours of dead air otherwise.
