Scott Norton in WWF?

Did Vince ever have an interest in Scott Norton? He seems like a guy that might have been on the WWF’s radar at some point. Any particular reason he never tried to get him? I would think he could have been brought in during the mid 90s between his early brief WCW run and his later one with the NWO. Heck, why didn’t he try to get him after WCW folded?

Did he not like Norton’s style or look? Hard to believe in a time when Mabel and Yokozuna were getting pushes…and Norton could have certainly been more nimble than either of them.

​I think it would have been a major problem for anyone but WCW to work around Norton’s numerous Japan commitments, although I can certainly see Vince wanting to give him a push. I’ve never specifically heard of WWE trying to bring him in or anything, though. ​
