Ron Simmons/Vader

Why was there never a feud in WCW between Ron Simmons and Vader after Simmons won the belt? Vader just faded into the background until he won the title back following Starrcade 92. They never even had a PPV Match, wouldn’t a Main Event between the 2 at Havoc or Starrcade have been more productive at the time and would have gotten Simmons over stronger than vs Barbarian and Dr. Death?

​You’d think, but I think Vader was working REALLY hurt and had to drop the title quickly because of the injuries, if I’m remembering correctly. But yes, the rematch definitely would have made more sense. Not to mention that Simmons kept the title through Starrcade and then dropped the belt immediately afterwards back to Vader anyway.
