Zayn/Foley

10 years ago that angle last night would’ve ended with Sami snapping and beating the shit out of Foley and culminating with a hardcore match where a bloody Mick puts over the younger guy a la Edge or Orton. But now, he gets to get squashed by strowman, to set up… I have no idea. Is this some old fashioned squash the guy to build him up booking, or do you have no clue?

​The idea appears to be that they saw Zayn losing over and over in NXT and they thought "Hey, let’s try this on the main roster!" Except then they forgot to ever let him win again. ​
