The Rock if If WWE lost the war

Essentially, I guess it’s assuming it would’ve screwed up the invasion as bad as WWE did. My question is: Let’s say WWE had been bought in ’97. What do you think would’ve happened to Rock?

I like to think that a man of his enormous drive and talent would’ve made it no matter what but it would probably be a lost cause.

Thoughts?

​WCW had Steve Austin and got rid of him freely. I’m doubtful that the same set of circumstances that created the Rock would have been duplicated in WCW, although as noted Rock has so much drive and charisma that he probably would have went elsewhere and become a huge star anyway.​
