Raw and Smackdown. 2 separate ppvs a month.

By Scott Keith on 13 June 2016

Talk about it Scott.

They’re like, super duper determined to make sure I never start watching full-time again. Who is even supposed to have the time to watch that much content a month?

For those late to the party, basically Jerry Lawler is saying that they’re doing 2 PPVs per month in non-Big 4 months, with one RAW and one Smackdown show. For me, they should reduce the running time of them down to 90 minutes – 2 hours because the 3 hour thing is an artificial number that was good for the $60 PPV era, but makes no sense in the $9.99 Network era. The Takeover specials are a perfect length as it is, for example and I just don’t need Dudley Boyz matches to pad out shows to 9 or 10 matches. Creatively, this is suicide. They’re gonna burn out the product incredibly fast. Not looking forward to this idea.
