Do wrestlers still speak carny?

By Scott Keith on 16 February 2016

> Hi Scott,

> Was watching the Stone Cold Podcast episode with Big Show and he kept throwing the word "kayfabe". Beyond the irony of using that term in a televised situation, it does bring up a strange question: Do wrestlers still talk carny? I mean, what the point of the word "kayfabe" when EVERYONE knows what it means?

According to Lance Storm, he tries to discourage it in his trainees. Stuff like the fake handshake and the carny lingo, just because as noted EVERYONE knows it anyway. Some like HHH still apparently take it seriously, though. I think once the post-Cena generation comes into power, that’s it for the carny nonsense.
