John Cena Redux

Hey Scott,

Let’s say you were a WWE writer back in late-2004. Vince has just informed you that, no matter what, Cena will be the star of the next decade. Knowing what you do now, would you change anything about how Cena was booked?

​Yeah, I would have given him the title even sooner, but kept him as a shit-talking heel longer. Basically erase JBL’s reign from history and have rapper Cena win it from Eddie instead. Then you can turn him in 2005 and build to WM22 as his big moment by going over HHH instead. I probably also would have thrown a Cena-Undertaker match in at Wrestlemania at some point​.
