VHS/DVD Question

Hey Scott, I know you converted your tapes to dvd years ago and I was
wondering what the easiest way to do that would be? Thanks.

Hey, a question that relates to my real life job, too. When I did mine, I used a Toshiba DVD recorder with my old faithful VCR plugged into the input, and that worked fine. The alternative is a combo unit that has both VCR and DVD recorder built into it. I recorded most of my DVDs at a low quality, so I was typically able to fit three or four shows onto one disc. Those machines are getting hard to find, but I can vouch for this one:
The other option is to encode them on your computer and then burn from there to DVD. The most popular option is the Dazzle box, which runs you about $50 and converts whatever analog source you connect into DVD files. This is the slower way to go about it but gives you more control over editing and presentation.
For me, 90% of what I was keeping ended up getting duplicated by the Network anyway. Which is why I love it so much.
