Hey Scott,

I'm watching No Mercy 2000 and the crowd is shitting all over Xpac during his cage match with Y2J.

When did the fans turn on Xpac? He — along with DX — were very over throughout 1998 and early 1999, and the other three guys — and Chyna, I suppose — remained pretty over after the group fizzled out, but the crowd just really hated Xpac, despite probably being the best worker.

I'm not complaining, but why did they turn on Waltman, and when?

I think it was due to the stale nature of his character after the DX breakup, but the X Factor stable really sealed the deal. It was clearly a lower card guy getting pushed WAY above his station and people really resented it.
