Seth Rollins To Defend WWE World Heavyweight Championship At Clash In Paris

By Conor Renshaw on 12 August 2025

Seth Rollins will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris on August 31 in a Fatal Four-Way Match.

Following Seth Rollins’ interference in the main event of Raw last night, where CM Punk and LA Knight faced off against The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, he and the rest of his Vision cohorts attacked Punk and Knight until Jey Uso came out to even the odds.

After the dust had settled, Adam Pearce came out to announce that Rollins will be putting his title on the line at Clash in Paris in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Punk, Uso, and Knight. This caused Knight and Punk to argue, and as Uso attempted to calm the situation down, Knight elbowed him, and this allowed The Vision to re-enter the ring and attack the three men and leave them laying.

How Did Seth Rollins Win The World Heavyweight Championship

Seth Rollins captured the World Heavyweight Championship at the end of SummerSlam Saturday, following CM Punk’s World Title win over Gunther. Rollins entered on crutches but threw them down, revealing that his “injury” was nothing more than a cunning plan. Rollins then attacked Punk with the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed in his contract to win the title.

Let’s take a look at the Clash in Paris card so far:

  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight vs. CM Punk in a Fatal Four-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Naomi (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title
  • John Cena vs. Logan Paul

Who do you think will walk away from Clash in Paris as world champion? Will the match see an interference from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed? And of the three already announced, which matches are you looking forward to the most for Clash in Paris?
