Seth Rollins Thinks Becky Lynch Has Taken Women’s Wrestling To New Heights
By Craig Ballantyne on 17 September 2025
Seth Rollins believes Becky Lynch is the greatest of all time.
At Wrestlepalooza, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch will take on another WWE power couple in CM Punk and AJ Lee. The match will mark the first time the pair have teamed up since 2019, and their first bout as husband and wife, having married in 2021.
In a recent interview on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike, Rollins explained the benefits of working together onscreen as well as being a couple away from the ring. According to The Visionary, the pair can learn from each other because of their different approaches to things.
“I think what it boils down to for me is: iron sharpens iron. You know, we met through this industry. We met in 2015 or something like that, 2014, became friends, both started to kind of rise up at the same time, found each other romantically.
“And then we’ve been able to really use each other as a resource. And to get out there and perform with her, the way she preps is different than how I prep, and the way she performs and interacts is different. So we get to learn from each other, we get to bounce stuff off of each other.
Rollins went on to say it’s “super easy” to work with The Man as there’s no pressure.
“And another thing is: we understand the grind. We understand what it takes on the other side of it. So there’s no pressure. It’s like — the ease with which we’re able to communicate, I think makes the partnership on-screen fantastic, obviously off-screen makes life super easy and fun.”
“She Is Actually The Greatest Of All Time” – Seth Rollins on Becky Lynch
Rollins truly believes Lynch is the best in the world, pointing to her being part of the first women’s WrestleMania event back in 2019, as well as the other roles she’s taken on.
“She is actually the greatest of all time. This is the first woman to main event WrestleMania. That’s our Super Bowl. She’s a mother, she’s an athlete, she’s an entertainer, she does everything.
Going further, the World Heavyweight Champion claimed Lynch has “transcended” the pro wrestling industry.
And she has transcended our industry and taken female wrestling to heights no one ever could have dreamed of.”
