More WWE Departures Confirmed

Several more releases and departures have been announced from WWE.

Fightful and Cory Hays of Bodyslam report that Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingson, The New Day, have been released as TKO wanted to renegotiate their deals and they declined. Both men hold a long list of accomplishments. Kofi has one WWE Championship, four Intercontinental Titles, three U.S. Titles, fifteen runs with the various main roster Tag Team Titles and one NXT Tag Team Championship. In his time in WWE, Woods has won tag titles thirteen times (including once in NXT) and was the 2021 King of the Ring.

Fightful has also confirmed the departures of two members of the MFTs, JC Mateo and Tonga Loa. Loa had one WWE Tag Team Championship reign with Tama Tonga.
