A-Town Down Under Split As New WWE World Tag Team Number One Contenders Are Crowned
By Conor Renshaw on 22 July 2025
The team of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, known as A-Town Down Under, have split up, and new WWE World Tag Team Championship number one contenders were crowned last night on Raw.
Waller first addressed the breakup of the tag team in a backstage segment last night, where he offered his services to The New Day as a gopher and announced that Theory is out injured. Waller later addressed the news in a social media post where he poked fun at Theory, saying that he only has 5 fans, and said that he saved Theory’s career.
The team of Waller and Theory previously held the SmackDown Tag Team Championship after winning the belts at WrestleMania 40. WWE did not confirm what injury Theory is suffering from or how long he will be out for.
