Now that WrestleMania season is over, it’s time to get back into Tough Enough.

Previously on Tough Enough: It was time to play The Game.  Triple H shows up and talks to the trainees about the love of the business and Goldberg.  Chris playfully flirts with Nidia by trying to drown her.  Jason leaves the show.

Previously on WWF Tough Enough: The recruits learn to take a bump!  The recruits wrestle in pig shit!  Tazz has feelings about Bill Goldberg!  Stephanie McMahon is kind to the recruits!

Previously on WWF Tough Enough: the casting special!  Thousands show up and audition, but only thirteen are chosen.  Twelve of them arrive at their house and are met by Greg, stepping in to take the role abandoned as the thirteenth house mate which was given up by Greg.  Big John tells the viewers that the cast have no idea just how tough this is going to be.  Tough enough, perhaps?

WWE Tough Enough – WWF Tough Enough before they “got the F out” – debuted on June 21, 2001 on MTV.  Birthed out of WWE’s television contract with MTV, the show put a wrestling spin on something MTV had been doing well – reality shows.  As the home of “The Real World” and “Road Rules,” there was always a home for a wrestling reality show.

Before settling into a house however, they had to find the cast.  The first episode was an extended episode: the casting special.  If you’d like to watch this in 2025, Peacock is your place.
