Welcome to another episode of ROH Honor Club. Last week was the Action Dean 3 special, which didn’t focus much on pushing existing storylines, but just a card thrown together in memory of Dean Rasmussen. We’re back with ROH canon, and it’s more content taped from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, with Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman calling the action.

Last week we were treated to our regularly scheduled Thursday night episode as well as a 2-hour YouTube Special on Friday, and to my surprise, there were some teases for future conflict on the Friday episode, though pushing out an extra two hours for the sake of doing it was still a choice. Tonight’s episode is ROH and Action Wrestling’s collaboration “Action Dean 3”, shows dedicated to the memory of Dean Rasmussen (founder of DVDR and a beloved member of the online wrestling community), with all matches taped from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA along with last week’s episode of AEW Collision.

With a loaded episode of WWE Smackdown AND the NFL on YouTube with the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Kansas City Chiefs, I guess we needed an extra 2-hours of content from Ring of Honor. We’ve got ELEVEN MATCHES scheduled, so sit back and relax.

Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman are calling all the action, and it looks like every match tonight is taped from the 2300 Arena, so at least we won’t get a cobbled together mess like last night’s Honor Club where we saw matches pulled from four different taping sessions.

Dark Order answered the open challenge of MxM Collection and Johnny TV and got geeked, Beef was squashed by Lance Archer, and there was some other stuff. We also had Death Before Dishonor on August 29th, which I’m sure will be a popular topic of conversation throughout the episode.

I hate to disappoint everyone, but here are the results… Jay Lethal tapped out Jordan Oliver (it was fine), MxM Collection beat The Dark Order and Frat House in a clusterf*ck of a triple threat match, Billie Starkz pinned Ashley Vox in a Pure Rules Match (not good), and Dralistico won a 4-Way featuring Angelico, AR Fox, and Adam Priest that was also fine.

Last week on ROH TV (Episode #130, for those keeping track), El Sky Team successfully defended their CMLL Trios Championship against Los Depredadores, Blake Christian squashed Beef, The Beast Mortos won a hard-fought battle with AR Fox, Sammy G and the Von Erich Brotherhood defeated Adam Priest and the Horseworkmen, Trish Adora won a squash, and Hechicero defeated Mr. ROH Jay Lethal in preparation for his Championship match at Death Before Dishonor.

I would say it’s a WWE move to counterprogram another company, but honestly, ROH vs. TNA is like watching Round 31 of Spike Dudley vs Steven Richards. Does anyone really pay attention to ROH besides the same 6 or 7 jabronis? I was anticipating a quick 3-4 match “special”, but oh foolish me, we’re getting way more than that, so time to settle down and say my prayers.

Last week on Episode 128, Bandido defeated Gringo Loco in a Proving Ground Match, Mistico and Mascara Dorada defeated Vanilla Baby and Big Shotty, Athena and Billie Saintz beat a couple of enhancement talents, Volador Jr and his goons defeated The Dark Order (BOO!), and Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh squashed a couple of goobers. So far, we know one match taking place on August 29th for Death Before Dishonor, Bandido defending the ROH Championship against Hechicero. Will we find out the rest of the card?

Last week on Episode 126, the Outrunners defeated the Workhorsemen, The Beast Mortos demolished Serpentico, Blake Christian and Big Shotty squashed a couple of geeks, Trish Adora made easy work of Aleah James, and in the MAIN EVENT, Nick Wayne defeated Gringo Logo in a Proving Ground Match. I honestly don’t know how they can top a lineup like that!

Last week on Episode 125, Atlantis Jr. defeated Big Shotty despite the best efforts of Blake Christian, Diamante squashed Maya World, Jay Lethal won a hard-fought battle with Michael Oku, and Hechicero handled Angelico quite easily to build him up as the next challenger for Bandido’s ROH World Championship. Oh, and it looks like the Frat House isn’t quite done with the Dark Order. I guess they’re destined to Fight Forever.

Last week on Episode 124, Atlantis and Atlantis Jr. defeated Spanish Announce Project, Aaron Solo did the job to a guy already in the ring, Dark Order defeated a couple of pledges in lieu of a wasted Frat House, Deonna Purrazzo tapped out Rachel Ellering in a Pure Rules Match, and the Sons of Texas defeated the Premier Athletes and Grizzled Young Veterans in Quartet Action. SUPERCARD OF HONOR was last Friday, featuring an outstanding ROH Championship Match between Bandido and Konosuke Takeshita. Lee Moriarty (Pure), Nick Wayne (TV), and Dustin and Sammy (Tag) retained their titles, and Mina Shirakawa won the Interim ROH Women’s World TV Championship… but is now out with a broken hand, so we’re going to need an Interim Interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion.

If you’ve missed ROH TV in recent weeks (and judging from the number of people who talk about ROH that’s most of you), don’t worry, pretty much everything is set up from Global Wars or with the most minimal of effort.

Most of the matches for Supercard of Honor are in place, so we can probably expect another random match or two added to pad things out.

Last week on Episode 121, Top Flight and The Kingdom defeated The Grizzled Young Vets and The Infantry in 8-Man Tag Team Action, Lance Archer squashed Aaron Solo, Miyu Yamashita defeated Brooke Havok, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Marti Belle in a Pure Rules Match that featured zero infractions or rope breaks, and Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty squashed a couple of geeks. We’re just under three weeks away from Supercard of Honor and we STILL don’t have any concrete idea of what the card will look like.

ROH TV Episode 121 – June 19th, 2025

Last week on Episode 120, Atlantis Jr. and Templario defeated Volador Jr. and Magnus; Preston Vance of the Frat House defeated Evil Uno, but the return of John Silver means we’re getting a Six-Man Tag down the road; Red Velvet and Shane Taylor Productions squashed some geeks, and in the Main Event, Bandido turned away Mansoor and MxMxTV in a Proving Ground Match. Tonight’s lineup… isn’t giving me much hope, but we’ll push on and hope for the best.

ROH TV Episode 120 – June 12th, 2025

Last week on Episode 119, Thunder Rosa and Persephone defeated Leila Grey and Dulce Tormenta, The Frat House’s Griff Garrison and Cole Karter defeated Dale Springs and Braxton Hunter, Wheeler Yuta pinned Aaron Solo (STILL THERE), and Athena pinned Rachel Armstrong in a Proving Ground Match. We also teased something between Athena and Thunder Rosa and Dalton Castle is on his way back to ROH. Supercard of Honor is scheduled for July 11th and… well, we’ve got plenty of time to get that card together.
