Security Guard Sues WWE And Montez Ford Over Raw Entrance ‘Lap Dance’
WWE and Montez Ford are facing a lawsuit filed by a security guard who alleges that Ford performed an unwanted sexualised dance against him during the July 6 episode of Raw. According to POST Wrestling, Noel Lucas filed the lawsuit in Cook County, Illinois, on October 14, naming WWE, Ford and Event Services, LLC as defendants. Lucas claims Ford repeatedly thrust his hips towards him and made physical contact during The Street Profits’ entrance, causing humiliation and emotional distress.
He also alleges that he and his children subsequently faced public ridicule. The lawsuit includes 14 counts, including assault, battery and violations of Illinois law, with Lucas seeking damages and legal costs. The allegations have not been proven in court, and WWE has not publicly responded. A hearing is scheduled for December 10.
Gunther’s current WWE run reportedly ‘raised questions’ among creatives
WWE’s creative direction for Gunther has reportedly sparked frustration and confusion behind the scenes, according to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select. Despite previously being positioned as a dominant force who retired Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles, Gunther has struggled to maintain momentum since moving to SmackDown. After defeating Styles at Royal Rumble 2026, he faced Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42 but has since been involved in less prominent storylines. More recently, Gunther suffered a pinfall defeat to CM Punk in a Money in the Bank qualifying match before entering a feud with Danhausen. The report claims WWE’s creative team has questioned his current direction, especially given his previous high-profile accomplishments.
New Details On Cody Rhodes’ WWE Contract
Cody Rhodes has reportedly signed a five-year contract extension with WWE, according to The New York Times. The Undisputed WWE Champion announced earlier in October that he had agreed to a new deal with the company, although he did not initially disclose its length. Rhodes also confirmed his intention to finish his professional wrestling career with WWE. The contract’s duration was revealed in a New York Times article discussing Rhodes and Roman Reigns’ involvement in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. The new agreement is expected to keep Rhodes under contract with WWE until approximately 2031, reinforcing his long-term commitment to the promotion.
