TNA Cuts Ties With Max Caster After Riyadh Rap
Max Caster will no longer appear for TNA Wrestling following controversial comments made during his entrance rap at Bound For Glory on October 11. The former AEW star referenced Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where recent airport attacks had reportedly killed and injured civilians, during his debut appearance against Moose. TNA subsequently issued an apology, describing the remarks as insensitive and accepting responsibility for allowing the segment to air. The company also removed the footage from replays and social media. According to Fightful Select, Caster’s comments were neither scripted nor approved, leaving TNA executives unhappy. Caster, who became a free agent after his AEW contract expired earlier in October, made just one appearance for the promotion.
AEW wrestler Anna Jay undergoing shoulder surgery
AEW star Anna Jay has revealed that she requires shoulder surgery after struggling with recurring dislocations. Speaking during a Twitch stream in late September, Jay explained that she had consulted multiple doctors and surgeons before deciding an operation was necessary, having initially hoped to avoid the procedure. She expected to undergo surgery within the following two weeks, although it remains unclear whether the operation has since taken place. Jay, who previously underwent shoulder surgery in 2021, acknowledged her disappointment but remains optimistic about her recovery. While she anticipates a typical rehabilitation period for a shoulder injury, she declined to provide a specific return timetable to avoid raising expectations.
