Police Report Provides New Details on PAC’s Death

The New York Post has reported new details from the police incident report into the death of AEW star PAC, real name Benjamin Satterley. Satterley was found unresponsive in a rental car outside a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, with saliva on his shirt and an unspecified medication in the vehicle. His phone was still directing him to O’Hare Airport, where he was scheduled to fly back to the UK after spending three weeks travelling across the United States for wrestling.

Authorities found no suspicious marks or circumstances and do not suspect foul play. Satterley was pronounced dead shortly after emergency services arrived at around 4 p.m. on September 27. An autopsy was conducted the following day, but a cause of death remains undetermined pending additional testing. He had wrestled at AEW All Out less than 24 hours earlier.

John Cena Says The John Cena Classic Will Take Place In December

John Cena has confirmed that the inaugural John Cena Classic will take place in December 2026. Speaking on NBC’s TODAY, Cena said the WWE event will celebrate the memories, nostalgia and core values associated with his character, while featuring a unique format in which the audience will vote to decide the champion.

Cena admitted he does not know whether the concept will work, but he is proud to keep taking chances with WWE. He did not reveal a specific date or venue. False Finish and Dave Meltzer have both reported that December 12 is the current target, although WWE has already scheduled Wrestlepalooza: Perth at RAC Arena for the same date and has not explained how the two events would coexist.

Latest report on Bryan Danielson’s AEW plans following in-ring return

Bryan Danielson is reportedly not being factored into AEW’s on-screen plans despite making a surprise in-ring return during the recent PAC tribute episode of Dynamite. According to Fightful Select, there has been no indication that Danielson’s return will lead to further television appearances or storylines. Danielson teamed with the Death Riders to defeat the Don Callis Family in the main event after reconciling with longtime rival Jon Moxley earlier in the show. The appearance marked Danielson’s first televised match since Moxley defeated him at WrestleDream 2024, ending his full-time wrestling career. Danielson had remained involved with AEW through commentary and also wrestled Max Caster in a dark match in 2025.
