Evening Daily News Update – August 29, 2026

Good evening, Doomsters! Have you wished Garth a happy birthday yet? You should.

Tomorrow is a big day of wrestling, but the action kicks off tonight. AEW presents Collision at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and HBO Max. If the mass amount of men wrestling across All In isn’t enough, there’s lots more man-on-man action with two-six man tag matches and Takeshita vs The Beast Mortos announced. The women have two matches as well, with Mercedes Mone battling Isla Dawn and Skye Blue against Harley Cameron.

Lucha Libre AAA has the night off, but the AAA superstars will be in action with AAA Ola de Color at 12 p.m. ET tomorrow on YouTube. That’ll be followed by NXT Heatwave at 3 p.m. on the CW as well as ESPN Unlimited in the US and Netflix internationally. And of course, AEW presents All In tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET with the Buy In starting at 11 a.m. ET.

In Blog of Doom content, Niz has started his weekend of wrestling by reviewing SmackDown featuring Gooner Gunther, three women’s matches and the continued story of Cody and Randy.
