Update On Jim Ross Following Brain Surgery

Jim Ross has successfully undergone brain surgery to address excess fluid on his brain. Ross previously explained that the procedure would involve surgeons drilling a hole in his skull and inserting a small tube reaching into his stomach to help manage and drain the fluid. Grilling JR co-host Conrad Thompson confirmed the operation was successful after receiving an update from Ross’ daughter, adding that the 74-year-old is expected to return home by Friday, August 14. Ross had previously spent 40 days in hospital while dealing with memory loss and balance problems, and hopes to recover in time to attend AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 30.

Logan Paul responds to reported WWE backstage issues with Bron Breakker

Former WWE broadcaster Jonathan Coachman has claimed that Bron Breakker does not get along with Logan Paul backstage, although Paul appeared to dismiss the allegation after it circulated on social media. Responding to the report, Paul simply wrote, “Wtf lol.” Coachman also claimed he had been told Breakker is unhappy with his current WWE creative and believes he should be receiving a stronger push. He added that WWE is currently “really, really high” on Theory, who holds the World Tag Team Championship alongside Breakker.

Malakai Black To Wrestle Progress Wrestling’s Odyssey Tour In Edinburgh, Leeds And Manchester

Former WWE star Malakai Black is set to return to the ring for the first time since his April 24 release, with Progress Wrestling announcing him for three dates on its Odyssey Tour. Black will compete in Edinburgh on September 4, Leeds on September 5 and Manchester on September 6, marking his return to the independent scene. The former NXT Champion, who previously competed in AEW from 2021 to 2025, has not wrestled in more than four months and recently debuted a new bald look while using his former Tommy End name in a vignette. Progress is advertising him as Malakai Black, while his plans beyond the September appearances have not yet been announced.
