Evening Daily News Update: August 1, 2026 – SummerSlam Saturday

Happy Saturday, Doomsters. With SummerSlam kicking off early at 6 pm ET, the evening thread is a little early as well.

We have six matches scheduled tonight including two title matches, a Hell in a Cell, two six-person tags and the in-ring return of Nick Aldis. Scott will be along with a Rant when he is ready.
