Evening Daily News Update: July 6, 2026

Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Monday, July the 6th, 2026. The World Cup action is hot and furious, and tonight, the good ol’ US of A will take on Belgium for a chance to advance to the Quarter-Finals. We also have WWE Monday Night Raw (preview below) and I’m sure there’s some baseball. How ’bout them Yankees, Rinehart? The Walking Slump has infected the entire team!

If you’re wondering about the header, we are running a “You Pick the Header” campaign for the Monday through Friday blocks, where I will choose from suggestions posted in the comments below, so please @ me if you have something, and note, the gooning will be kept to reasonable levels, so have fun with the concept (Note: The header has already been chosen for tomorrow, so first dibs begins on Wednesday. Also Note: There is no ROH Honor Club tonight, if you’re taking the header as anything more than a gag… or maybe there is. I don’t know anymore.)

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview:
Tonight, we have not one, not two, BUT THREE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. Sami Zayn defends his newly won WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes! The Street Profits defend the World Tag Titles against Bron and Austin of the Vision! Sol Ruca defends the W-IC Title against Raquel! We’ll also get appearances from Oba Femi (YAY) and Seth Rollins (BOO).
