Former Giovanni Vinci Makes TNA Impact Debut
A former WWE star officially debuted in TNA Wrestling on Thursday night as Fabian Aichner made his return to wrestling after more than a year away from the ring. Formerly known in WWE as Giovanni Vinci, Aichner appeared at the end of TNA Impact following Cedric Alexander’s X-Division Championship victory over Leon Slater. Aichner confronted the new champion on the stage as the show went off the air, seemingly setting up a future feud ahead of next month’s Ultimate X match. Aichner had not wrestled since a WWE dark match in December 2024 before being released by the company earlier this year.
Mick Foley Soon To Be All Elite?
According to various sources, AEW is said to have a real interest in signing Mick Foley once his WWE Legends deal expires next month. Foley and WWE have apparently parted ways due to Mick disagreeing with their politics as of late.
Former AAA Star Cuatrero’s Conviction Sees New Details Released
Mexican authorities have released new details following the conviction of former AAA and CMLL wrestler Cuatrero in connection with a 2023 domestic violence case involving Stephanie Vaquer. Cuatrero, real name Rogelio Reyes, was sentenced to 12 years and eight months after being found guilty of attempted femicide and domestic violence, with around two years already served counting toward the sentence. Prosecutors confirmed Reyes was arrested days after the alleged assault and later allowed to continue proceedings while free under supervision. Authorities also stated Reyes may continue wrestling professionally under court monitoring, but he cannot attend any event where Vaquer is present.
Joe Hendry Announces Exclusive WWE Album Dropping This Summer
Joe Hendry has revealed he has recorded an exclusive album with WWE Music, scheduled for release this summer. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the former NXT Champion said the project features entirely original songs and was primarily recorded at WWE Studios in New York. Hendry also explained that he has recreated the studio setup at home so he can quickly work with WWE Music on topical songs, similar to the Logan Paul track used during his WWE Raw debut.
