Evening Daily News Update: May 15, 2026

Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Friday, May 15th, 2026. The Brock Era is over, unfortunately, so it’s back to random nonsense that still mostly amuses myself. Tonight, we have WWE Friday Night Smackdown (preview below) and a double-header of NBA Playoff action; Detroit visits Cleveland to keep their playoff hopes alive, while Minnesota tries to defend home court to force a Game 7 with San Antonio.

TNA Impactwas an interesting experience and Scott H. has all the details with his weekly recap. Alex has Chapter XI in the Books of Akira Hokuto, Mike has ROH War of the Wire from 2003, and Logan’s World Was Watching the January 20th, 1996 episode of Superstars.

Interesting show tonight as… uh… not much is advertised. I guess WWE is punting against heavy playoff competition. We DO have a CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATION on the books! Yay! Haven’t seen one of them in a few days!
