Evening Daily News Update: April 6, 2026

Good evening, doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update! Easter is over, and we’re just 12 days away from Night 1 of WWE Super WrestleMania 42. We’ve got a full lineup of MLB action, including the Tampa Bay Rays playing their first game at the Trop in over 500 days due to severe Hurricane damage. Hopefully the Philadelphia Phailures can get things back on track, with San Francisco opposing them. Oh, and we’ve got WWE Monday Night Raw. Maybe we can add some more corporate synergy to the biggest show of the year.

For BOD content, I’ve suffered through the first episode of NWA Total Nonstop Action from June 19, 2002 (Featuring a lot of Russo-esque booking), Jabroniville has a double-dose of All Japan Women’s from 2001, and Logan’s World Was Watching the December 5th, 1994 episode of WWF Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview:
Hearts will be broken when Finn Balor takes on his former protege and best friend J.D. McDonagh, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky battle B-Fab and Michin (I guess I was wrong about only the stars showing up wherever necessary), LA Knight goes one-on-one with Austin Theory, and we’ll get appearances from CM Punk, Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins. Maybe Gunther can show up to choke Seth out. All this begins at 8pm ET on Netflix.
