Evening Daily News Update: April 3, 2026

Good evening, doomers! It’s Good Friday and it’s time for your Evening Daily News Update, brought to you by Cadbury. You know you like those cream-filled eggs, and so does your dentist when it’s time for a cleaning. Tonight, we’ve got WWE Friday Night Smackdown (will we find out who Randy Orton is talking to?!) and a full lineup of MLB Action. Woah, the Phillies are taking the Rockies for a walk around the ballpark today (it’s 9-0 in the 3rd as I type this intro).

We’ve got a full slate of BOD Content, including Niz’s coverage of Thursday Night Collision, Scott H. has last night’s episode of TNA Impact, Mike reviews WrestleMania XV (it’s a total stinker), and Logan’s World Was Watching the December 4th, 1994 episode of The Action Zone. WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview:
We’ve only got two matches confirmed for tonight; Alexa Bliss and Charlotte vs Lyra Valkyria and Bayley (“What’s my path to WrestleMania?!”), and Rhea Ripley vs. Michin. We’ll also get appearances from Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jacob Fatu, Drew McIntyre, and NEW United States Champion Sami Zayn. We’re going to fill THREE HOURS by the way, starting at 8pm ET on the USA Network.
