Tony Khan Comments On Ronda Rousey’s AEW Debut and Future
Tony Khan says Ronda Rousey’s surprise appearance at AEW Revolution happened because she was supporting her real-life friend Marina Shafir, who brought her in as backup after her match with Toni Storm. Speaking at the post-show media scrum, Khan noted that AEW has a good relationship with Rousey, who wrestled for Ring of Honor in 2023, and said she is welcome back anytime.
Ronda Rousey Confronts Toni Storm At AEW Revolution
Speaking of Rousey’s AEW debut, Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution, confronting Toni Storm after Storm defeated Marina Shafir. Security quickly separated the two before Shafir attacked Storm from behind, and Rousey later crossed paths with Jon Moxley as he headed to the ring for his Continental Championship match.
WWE Hall Of Famer Is Coming Up On 14 Years Sober
Diamond Dallas Page says Jake “The Snake” Roberts is approaching 14 years of sobriety and has reunited with his ex-wife, Cheryl, with the pair now appearing together at autograph signings. Speaking on Wrestling Life with Ben Veal, Page said he spent years worrying about Roberts relapsing but now feels confident in his longtime friend’s recovery.
Mistico Officially Under AEW Contract
Mistico was officially confirmed as All Elite during AEW Revolution shortly after winning the AEW World Trios Championships with Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey. The trio defeated Mark Davis, Kyle Fletcher, and Kazuchika Okada on the pay-per-view, and an “All Elite” graphic appeared on the screen during their celebration to announce Mistico’s AEW signing.
