Evening Daily News Update: March 7, 2026 – Vengeance Day Edition

Happy Saturday evening. I hope you’re having the Saturday you deserve. There’s a boatload of wrestling on tonight, which I’ll preview for you. Personally, I’m taking a few days off. I can only do so much wrestling.

NXT presents Vengeance Day, streaming tonight internationally on Netflix and for the last time on Peacock in the U.S. at 7 p.m. ET. Joe Hendry defends his NXT Championship against Ricky Starks, Izzy Dame defends the NXT Women’s North American Title against Tatum Paxley and we return to NXT Underground with Lola Vice battling Kelani Jordan.

AEW presents Collision at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and HBO Max. FTR defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Rascalz, Swerve Strickland battles Gravity and there is a four-team $200,000 match.

WWE presents Lucha Libre AAA on FOX in Latin America and elsewhere on YouTube immediately after Vengeance Day. We have a Rey de Reyes qualifying match including Santos Escobar in his first televised match since his new contract was signed in October. La Parka will also be facing Original El Grande Americano.

All three of these fall into Niz’s reviewing shoes, so give him time. He is fresh off reviewing last night’s SmackDown, which he did a great job with as always.
