Oh my God, is there any NBA action yet?! Baseball?!? No, I don’t pretend to care about winter Olympics, though Hockey is a fine sport when you remember to check it out. Eh… welcome to another Evening Daily News Update, as we preview tonight’s professional wrestling and give a look at some YouTube fun if you’re not someone who obsessively checks it every day for fresh content.

Niz has all of the details from last night’s episode of NXT (I thought it was OK-ish, but not a must-see week), Jabroniville looks at another full episode of WCW Nitro for Dream Matches, and Logan’s World Was Watching the October 24th, 1994 episode of Monday Night Raw.

In tonight’s action, Kenny Omega takes on Swerve Strickland in a match I’m sure most have been dreaming about; Willow defends the TBS Championship against Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mina Shirakawa, and we’ve got a face-to-face between MJF and Hangman, beginning at 8pm ET on TBS and HBO Max.

Kerwin Silfies Passes Away at 75
Silfies worked for WWE’s production crew dating back to 1985 and was furloughed in 2020 during the pandemic. I’m sure most might know his name as it was the inspiration to Chavo’s short-lived “Kerwin White” gimmick in 2005.

YouTube Spotlight: Story of Mayweather vs. Big Show – WrestleMania XXIV
Big Show made a surprise return to WWE at No Way Out 2008, but the goodwill disappeared immediately when The World’s Largest Athlete attacked an injured Rey Mysterio & taunted professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. Minutes later, Big Show had a broken nose and a clear road to WrestleMania XXIV. Watch the rivalry for this David vs. Goliath matchup.
