Evening Daily News Update: January 31, 2026 – Royal Rumble Edition

Good evening! By the time you read this, the Royal Rumble will probably have ended and, I assume, we will be talking about Tozawa’s main event match at WrestleMania. If you’re reading this early, I’m also working on actually watching and reviewing the Rumble, so stay tuned for the review that I’ll be updating here at some point tonight. UPDATE – HERE IS THE REVIEW. Scott is skipping over the show, so I’ve put on my bodysuit so that I can legally do the Blog of Doom’s official review without offending the Saudi overlords.

If you’re not wrestling-ed out after the Rumble, AEW has Collision tonight and WWE also has AAA Lucha Libre.

I’m cutting it short tonight so that I can go Rumble, but I promise I’ll have extra links tomorrow to all of our talented writers’ work and whatever news might pop up.
