Happy Saturday evening to you all. To say the least, it’s another depressing news day in a long, long series of them. Please take care of yourselves, take mental breaks from absorbing all of the bad in the world and be kind to each other. There’s also a lot of rough weather heading towards a lot of you, so be careful and stay warm.
Tonight, it’s Saturday Night’s Main Event on Peacock in the US and YouTube internationally at 8 pm ET. A title shot against Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble is on the line in a match between Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest and Sami Zayn. WWE Women’s Team Champions RhIyo defend against Roxanne Perez & Liv Morgan of Judgment Day, Cody Rhodes battles Jacob Fatu and AJ Styles goes head-to-head with Shinsuke Nakamura for perhaps the last time.

Two of the Blog of Doom’s finest have new reviews out for you. Niz tackled a three-hour SmackDown with matches like Carmelo vs Ilja and the Wyatts vs the MFTs. No, it wasn’t a rerun, it just felt like it. Garth reviewed this week’s JCW Lunacy including a whole lot of Big Vito and of course Vince Russo. Yes, I’m describing an actual show airing in 2026.
Here’s a look back at a 2020 battle between Io Shirai and Sasha Banks.
