Evening Daily News Update: January 10, 2026 – Drew McIntyre Wins the Big One
By Kat Bourne on 10 January 2026
Good evening, Doomsters! Saturday night has hit us again.
The biggest news is Drew McIntyre winning the big one – and making it through the night – by winning the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. Niz has, as he always does, written a great review of the show.
Saturday night usually means it is time to Collide. AEW presents Collision tonight on TNT and HBO Max. The Don Callis Family is always present and they’re in two of the three announced matches, Hechicero challenging for Mark Briscoe’s TNT Title and El Clon facing off with Komander. Kris Statlander and the Babes of Wrath are teaming up to face Hyan, Maya World and VertVixen in something to lead up to their battle with the Triangle of Madness on Dynamite.
The Doomie Awards happened yesterday and what a ceremony it was. As we wait for the very real trophies to be sent out, check out the winners. Thank you to all who voted. If you’re upset about your favorites not making it to the vote, please consider participating in the nomination round next year.

Kit Wilson Details Elton Prince’s Injury
Taking a break from battling toxic masculinity, Kit was written a great ode to his Pretty Deadly partner Elton Prince and his career-threatening injury.
That’s your Saturday scoop. Head to the comments section, be kind to the strangers on the internet because you never know what they’re going through and have a great night!
