Tonight’s show was recorded on Wednesday October 8th 2025 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL. The presenters of tonight’s show are Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness on match calls and analysis, Arkady Aura on ring announcements, and Lexy Nair on backstage interviews and breaking news.

Pre-theme promos: The Triangle of Madness promise…madness. Harley Cameron, Toni Storm and AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander point to the sky, Big Bill and Bryan Keith promise to crack Not The Acclaimed’s skulls, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster argue with each other, FTR and Megan Bayne promise to make people bow down, and Jet Speed and Willow Nightingale promise to put Top Guys down.

Kota Ibushi vs Josh Alexander

Don Callis seconds Alexander and stays at ringside instead of joining the commentary desk. The story here is that Ibushi is looking for revenge on behalf of Kenny Omega for the continuing Callis Family attacks on Omega. Ibushi levels Alexander with a chest kick after an early feeling out period. As Ibushi consults with the referee Alexander wallops him from behind to take control. After an Alexander back elbow Ibushi fires up with a dropkick that sends Alexander to the floor. Alexander recovers after a couple of Ibushi kicks and smashes Ibushi with a DDT. We go to picture-in-picture commercials.

During PIP Alexander starts working Ibushi’s left leg. Callis sneaks in a shot as Alexander has the ref tied up.

Ibushi recovers and dumps Alexander with a German as we come back to full screen. Ibushi goes to some strong style strikes and then wipes out Alexander with another running kick. Ibushi hits a standing moonsault and covers for two. Ibushi tries a roll up but Alexander rolls it over into an ankle lock. Ibushi escapes from that but Alexander responds with a helicopter slam that gets two. Ibushi fires up with a kick and a half release German before hitting a running Meteora. Ibushi’s cover gets two.

Ibushi misses a pump kick and Alexander snatches him up to drop Ibushi back-first onto the apron. Alexander hits a running knee to the back of a prone Ibushi’s head and then turns Ibushi inside-out with a lariat. Alexander’s cover gets two. Alexander goes to hoist Ibushi on his back while on the second rope but Ibushi tumbles to the floor (This is the spot where Ibushi’s leg injury occurred. Best wishes to him on the recovery.) Doc Sampson checks on Ibushi, and the ref counts Ibushi out.

It was going along well enough until Ibushi’s injury as they were working a back-and-forth strong style type match. It’s a damn shame for Ibushi, he’s 44 and has a pretty full bump card at this point. 2.5*

Winner – Josh Alexander (countout)

Post-match sees Callis grab a mic and tell the crowd no one can stop his Family as a returning Mark Davis comes out to presumably attack the fallen Ibushi. This brings out Kenny Omega with a trashcan in tow. Omega whips the trashcan at Alexander and then sends Davis to the floor with a clothesline. Omega hits a V-Trigger on Alexander and then whips the trashcan at Davis.

Mark Briscoe promises to put the TNT title around his waist at WrestleDream. We go to commercials.

Highlights of the rapidly escalating feud between AEW Men’s World Champion Hangman Page and Samoa Joe are shown.

Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs Platinum Max Caster and Anthony Bowens

This match was agreed to on last week‘s Collision and the story here is that Caster and Bowens now essentially very much dislike each other but keep getting involved in each other’s business somehow. Bowens and Caster cannot agree who should start as Schiavone informs us that this is the IDRINQ MATCH OF THE WEEK. Caster and Keith exchange some mat work before Caster gets the crowd to do his chant. Bowens blind tags in and hits Keith with a couple of kicks and a facebuster. Bill tags in as Caster and Bowens bicker. Bowens turns and sees Bill and immediately tags in Caster. Caster takes one step in and tags Bowens. Bowens tags in Caster.

Bill wipes out Caster with a splash and some punches. Caster tries for a sunset flip but Bill prevents it so Caster calmly pokes him in the eye. Bowens blind tags in and hits Bill with a Fameasser as Caster sends Keith to the floor with a dropkick. As Bowens and Caster consider scissoring it up Bill yanks Bowens out of the ring and sends him over the barrier into the crowd. Bill and Keith work over Caster in the ring. We go to picture-in-picture commercials.

During PIP Bill and Keith go to work on Bowens before dumping him back in. Keith hits a reverse thrust kick and covers for two. We go to full commercials.

Keith is working a headlock on Bowens when we return. Bowens breaks out and goes to tag Caster but thinks better of it. Keith promptly wallops Bowens with a kick that sends Bowens over to Caster anyway. Caster smashes Keith with a kick and then wipes Bill off the apron to the floor. Caster misses a chop on Keith with his hand smashing a ring post. Caster slips a Bill charge and slips into the ring with Keith. Caster smashes Keith with a Death Valley Driver and covers for two.

Bowens tags in as Caster was ascending and while they again bicker Keith sends Bowens into Caster. Caster dumps Keith and he and Bowens argue some more. Bill misses another charge and Bowens hammers Keith with the Mollywhop. Bowens covers Keith and gets three.

I legit have no idea whether this is leading to a full-fledged Acclaimed reunion but if they’re getting to that they need to move things along. I get the story of former partners who now very much dislike each other sort of falling back into each other’s lives but we have to get to the fireworks factory at some point, you know? Bill and Keith are pretty teflon at this point but I’m not sure where it’s going for them either. 2*

Winners – Platinum Max Caster and Anthony Bowens (Bowens Mollywhop on Keith)

The Bang Bang Gang are backstage and Austin Gunn is fired up. An irate Big Bill and Bryan Keith storm in and an argument ensues. Ace Austin calls out Bill running his mouth after losing just now and he and Keith leave. Two words, guns up, and the segment ends.

Tay Melo and Anna Jay vs Dream Girl Ellie and Carolina Cruz

Jay works Cruz over in her team corner and then Melo tags in for some double team work. Ellie tags in and Melo smashes her with a right hand. Melo hits a running knee and after Jay tags in she smashes Ellie with a running neckbreaker. Cruz breaks up Jay’s cover at one. Jay and Melo hit simultaneous superkicks on Cruz and Ellie. Melo works over Cruz in the corner with kicks before walloping Ellie with a Helluva Kick. Jay hits a legwhip on Ellie and hoists her into the Gory Special position before sending Ellie into Melo’s knee. Jay covers and gets three.

Squashy squash squash. 1.25*

Lexy Nair is backstage with The Conglomeration and Paragon. Kyle O’Reilly mentions that he lost to Other Kyle on Wednesday night but mentions Fletcher is “covered in grease” as Orange Cassidy is wildly confused. Roderick Strong says he’s not “in this” but wants to show the Death Riders that they aren’t as tough as they think they are. Willow Nightingale tries to do Mark Briscoe’s bit where he barks at the camera as Cassidy tells Nair they really need Briscoe there to do it properly.

The Demand promise more chaos with the Hurt Syndicate. GOA will meet Lashley and Benjamin on Dynamite this week. There will be a rematch of the trios match at WrestleDream, as well. We go to commercials.

Schiavone and McGuinness talk over the highlights of the chaotic ending of Dynamite when Darby Allin caused PAC to lose to Orange Cassidy before threatening the Death Riders with a Molotov cocktail. Allin then attacked Jon Moxley at New York City ComicCon. Moxley and Allin will have a face to face on the upcoming Dynamite. The Death Riders cut a group promo on Allin and Moxley promises to stave in Allin’s face the next time he sees him.

Toni Storm, Harley Cameron and AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander vs The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue)

Storm smashes Thekla with a kick right after the bell and then bullies her in a neutral corner. Storm tosses Thekla by her hair but Thekla rakes Storm’s eyes to break up the momentum. Thekla hits some kicks but Storm responds with a Thesz Press and a bunch of right hands. Storm hits a backbreaker and tags in Cameron. Thekla slugs Cameron and tags in Blue. Cameron trips up Blue and hits a short shotgun dropkick before covering Blue for one. Cameron splashes Blue in the babyface corner as Statlander tags in.

After Cameron hits a Side Russian Leg Sweep Statlander flies over the top rope and crushes Blue with a senton. Statlander drops Cameron onto Blue and then covers Blue for two. Statlander hits a standing vertical suplex on Blue and bodyslams her. Statlander’s cover gets two. Blue stops the momentum and tags in Hart. Statlander hits a powerslam on Hart and tags in Storm. Storm suplexes Hart and covers for two. Cameron tags in and hits an enziguri on Hart before covering for two. Blue prevents Cameron from running the ropes as Thekla flies in with a kick. Hart hits a dazed Cameron with a DDT and covers for two. We go to commercials.

Back live with Blue still working over a staggered Cameron. Blue smashes Storm on the apron with a right and then goes back to Cameron. Cameron hits an Eat Defeat on Blue and tags in Storm. Storm hits three shotgun dropkicks on Blue and then wallops Hart with a right while she’s on the apron. Storm hits a Michinoku Driver on Blue and her cover gets two. Blue slips out of a Storm Zero attempt and tags in Hart. Storm reverses a double suplex and lays out Blue and Hart with a suplex of her own. Statlander tags in and runs wild on the Triangle culminating in a neckbreaker on Hart and slamming Blue on top of a prone Hart. Statlander covers Hart for two.

Cameron tags in and she and Statlander hit a double-team facebuster but Thekla breaks up Cameron’s cover at two. Thekla tags in and immediately eats a Cameron back-stabber. Statlander wants a superkick but Hart ducks out of the way and Storm catches Statlander’s boot. As they confer Blue and Hart come in and dump both of them to the floor. Cameron gets a roll-up on Thekla for two. Thekla ducks a charge and spears Cameron. Thekla covers and gets three.

I knew neither Statlander or Storm was eating the pin if the face team lost, so this finish, while abrupt as hell, makes sense. Pretty standard tag match albeit one that would have driven JR insane. The Triangle are a decent group overall but Thekla seems like the real deal in the group. This was fine for what it was. 2.75*

Winners – The Triangle of Madness (Thekla spear on Cameron)

Post-match sees Storm lovingly kiss the championship belt before handing it over to Statlander.

Kenny Omega is backstage ranting about the Don Callis Family when Jack Perry arrives for a chat. Perry says he’s sorry for what happened to Ibushi and says he’s got Omega’s back. Omega reminds Perry of his mocking actions when AEW was in Winnipeg during Omega’s bout with diverticulitis. Perry points out they have some similar enemies. Omega doesn’t trust Perry and doesn’t give a f*** about the “big dumb dinosaur”. Omega says if Perry wants to prove something to him he should be at Dynamite. We go to commercials.

Lexy Nair is backstage with Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron. Cameron fesses up to not actually being a cat and asking Mercedes to team with her last week because they have weird chemistry. Statlander would like to tag with Cameron but she feels compelled to focus on retaining her title. Wheeler Yuta joins the scene to jibe Statlander about being a bad friend again. Yuta wanders out after Toni Storm marches in to bark at Statlander.

MxM TV make their entrance for the Casting Call segment. (McGuinness suggests this segment has replaced the Max Caster Open Challenges and I’m kind of sad about that. I do like this group though.) Mansoor calls for a challenger and calls Arkady Aura a “street walker”.

MxM TV (Mansoor, Mason Madden and Johnny TV) vs La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Sammy Guevara and Dralistico)

The Beast Mortos is accompanying the LFI team. Dralistico and Johnny start. Dralistico hits some kicks but Johnny comes back with a leg lariat. Dralistico returns fire and Mansoor tags in. Dralistico flips Manoor over on to his face and Guevara tags in. Guevara hits a dropkick on Mansoor and nips up with a big smile. Madden tags in and he wipes out the LFI group as Guevara was tagging in Rush. Guevara hits a reverse thrust kick on Madden that has zero effect. Madden rag-dolls Guevara and hits a sit-out powerbomb but instead of covering MxM decide it’s a better idea to pose.

LFI wipe out Mansoor and Johnny and then hit a double dropkick on a still-seated Madden. Dralistico and Johnny slug it out on the apron and then Dralistico ranas Johnny to the floor (There is VERY LITTLE room around ringside and this was just a dangerous spot overall. There was nowhere for Ibushi to go either when he slipped off Alexander’s shoulders.) Taya Valkyrie hits a rana on Dralistico for revenge. Madden wipes out Guevara with a leg lariat but then crotches himself on the top rope trying to do the same to Rush. Rush wipes out Madden with chops and then no-sells a bunch of chops from Mansoor.

Rush hits a snap German on Mansoor who then staggers into a top rope Codebreaker from Dralistico. Rush hits the Horns running shotgun dropkick and Guevara tags in. Guevara hits a gnarly looking swanton on Mansoor and covers him for three. (I’ll be shocked if Guevara doesn’t have a concussion after that.)

About what you’d expect from this. It’s a shame they don’t use Mason Madden differently because he is ENORMOUS, but I guess he likes tagging with Mansoor and Johnny so here we are. LFI hit all their stuff, as usual. 1.5*

Winners – LFI (Guevara swanton on Mansoor)

Immediately after the match Eddie Kingston marches to the ring as he’s scheduled to go with Mortos. Kingston gets a big pop and a chant of his name as this crowd seemingly has finally woken up again.

Eddie Kingston vs The Beast Mortos

Mortos is wearing sunglasses but he does remove them before commencing the fight. There’s a series of shoulder blocks between the two but Mortos wanders into a Kingston double boot and a flying shoulder block. Mortos bails and when he returns Kingston puts him in a side headlock. Mortos fights out of it and hits an enziguri and a clothesline. Mortos snaps Kingston’s elbow down and then twists his neck violently. We go to commercials.

Back live with Mortos hitting a sling blade and a huge lariat on Kingston before covering for two. Mortos misses a charge and goes to the floor so Kingston nails him with a tope suicida. Kingston pushes Mortos in and hits a neckbreaker before covering for two. Mortos decides to bite Kingston’s fingers so Kingston does the same to Mortos. Mortos hits a spear and covers Kingston for two.

Mortos ascends but misses his twisting moonsault attempt. Kingston hits an Exploder suplex and drops the straps. Kingston hits the Hurracan backfist and covers Mortos for three.

Eddie moves to 4-0 since returning from injury so you wonder if he’ll maybe get in the frame for a shot at Kyle Fletcher at some point assuming he doesn’t get shuffled into some ROH stuff due to the ongoing rivalry with Sammy Guevara. Mortos is a good opponent and he looked fine in defeat here. A decent semi-main event overall. 3*

Winner – Eddie Kingston (Hurracan backfist)

Post-match sees Hook wander out to check on Kingston.

Lexy Nair is backstage with the Triangle of Madness who are immediately attacked by Queen Aminata and Jamie Hayter. Security flies in to break it up. Everyone yells as we go to commercials.

A returning Katsuyori Shibata congratulates Rush and then challenges LFI to a Trios title match in Kansas City on next week’s Dynamite.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Megan Bayne vs Jet Speed (Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) and Willow Nightingale

Stokely and Penelope Ford accompany the heels. Bayne and Nightingale bully each other around to start before Bayne trucks Nightingale down. Nightingale recovers to body slam Bayne and then starts working her over in a neutral corner with lariats. Nightingale hits a running splash and gets a one count. Harwood and Knight tag in and Knight trucks Harwood. Harwood hits a couple of strikes and mashes Knight with a clothesline. Knight fires up with some dropkicks on Harwood and a charging Wheeler. Bayne comes in and tries to bully Knight but he doesn’t respond so Harwood smashes him from behind.

Knight ends up on the apron where he staggers Harwood and Wheeler with kicks. Knight hits a springboard dropkick on Harwood and Bailey charges in to follow up with a chop. Nightingale drops Bayne with a leg lariat and then hits a cannonball on a prone Harwood. Knight covers Harwood and gets two. Nightingale tags in but Bayne shoves Harwood out of the way causing Nightingale’s dropkick attempt to fail horribly. Bayne drives Nightingale to the floor and runs her into the barrier. We go to commercials.

Wheeler misses a charge on Nightingale when we return. (For the record, they never said either way whether or not the men and women could fight each other in this match, so here we are.) Harwood tags in as does Bailey. Bailey runs wild on FTR and Knight flies in to clothesline Harwood. Bailey’s cover of Harwood gets two. Bailey hits a running moonsault on Harwood and covers for two. Wheeler sends Knight into the barrier as Bailey gets caught by Bayne. Bayne hits a fall-away slam on Bailey and then smashes Knight with a tope suicida. Harwood hits a brainbuster on Bailey and covers for two.

Bailey fights his way out of the FTR corner and wallops Wheeler with a tornado DDT. Wheeler prevents Bailey from tagging and then tags in Bayne. Bayne hammers Bailey with a forearm and then suplexes Bailey right on his head. Bayne misses a charge and Nightingale and Harwood get tagged in. Nightingale lays in a bunch of chops and forearms on Harwood and then does the same to a baffled Wheeler. Knight hits a dropkick on Harwood and that sends him into a Nightingale sit-out powerbomb. Nightingale covers Harwood and gets two.

Harwood rolls Nightingale into a big right hand from Bayne and covers her for two. Bayne tags in and Nightingale wants a gut-wrench but Penelope Ford jumps up on the apron to bark at Nightingale. Nightingale drags Ford in and hits the POUNCE on her to send Ford to the floor. Bayne wanders into a Dragon Screw leg whip from Nightingale who then rolls that into a half crab. Bailey and Knight put Harwood and Wheeler into half crabs in solidarity. JetSpeed hit double topes on FTR on the floor as Nightingale slugs Bayne into a corner. Stokely jumps on the apron for a word with the referee who helpfully obliges. Bayne and Ford hit a Doomsday Device on Nightingale and Bayne covers her for three.

I don’t know if enough people watch this show to get upset by the intergender stuff. It wasn’t overt or violent or anything but it felt like they were testing the waters and the crowd was pretty into it. I’m not the biggest fan myself but I like most of the workers in this match well enough and it was fairly well-crafted by whomever agented it. 3.5*

Winners – FTR and Megan Bayne (Bayne/Ford Doomsday Device on Nightingale)

Post-match sees Bayne trying for a powerbomb when Harley Cameron charges in with a weapon to chase them off. Cameron and Nightingale hug as Bayne and Ford yell at them from the floor. FTR and JetSpeed continue jawing at each other as well. Weirdly, the babyfaces raise their hands at the end as if they won, but I guess everyone was just HAVING FUN OUT THERE.

Listen, in the artistic world that is professional wrestling, Collision is definitely the Salvador Dali of the sport. You legit never know how any of it is going to go or what weirdness may occur. Tonight’s puu-puu platter included inter-gender action in the main event! I’m wondering how that’s going to be perceived but again, not a lot of people are watching this show and during college football and baseball playoff seasons, that number won’t be a lot tonight. It’s sad about Ibushi’s injury and I hope he’ll recover from it. I cannot say I loved this episode but at least there was minimal Don Callis Family involvement and I enjoyed Eddie Kingston as usual.
