Chris Jericho Marks 35 Years in Wrestling, Says Career Isn’t Over

AEW’s Chris Jericho celebrated 35 years since his pro wrestling debut yesterday, as he reminisced on social media about facing Lance Storm in front of a crowd of 85 people in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada, on October 2, 1992. Jericho ended his post by stating, “IT AIN’T OVER YET”, affirming that he has no plans to call it quits on his career any time soon.

TNA President Comments On Joe Hendry’s Future Amid WWE Speculation

TNA’s President, Carlos Silva, commented on Joe Hendry’s future with the company after growing speculation had mounted about the former TNA World Champion making a full-time transition to WWE and being slowly phased out of TNA’s programming. Silva said that Hendry is still a TNA star for now and that they will continue to utilise him for as long as they have him. Which sounds like to me like he is definitely heading over to WWE by the beginning of next year.

Gail Kim: Kenny Omega’s tweet toward me was ‘very derogatory’

In the ongoing saga revolving around Gail Kim and her comments regarding former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho, Kim has addressed criticism she received from Kenny Omega, stating that his comments were “very derogatory”. Kim said of Riho on Twitter that she feels uncomfortable watching her matches because she feels like Riho dresses “like a little girl” and lacks the size to be believable in the ring. Omega responded to these comments by posting on Twitter, “another day and another ‘legend’ doing the splits on it for the yearly TKO gift basket…” which Kim believes are derogatory comments made against her.

WWE Crown Jewel Event To Screen In Select U.S. Theaters

WWE has confirmed that the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view, which is set to take place in Perth, Australia, on October 11, will be airing in select U.S. movie theatres. Crown Jewel currently has four matches scheduled, with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY taking on Asuka and Kairi Sane, John Cena facing off against AJ Styles, Stephanie Vaquer going head-to-head with Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, and Cody Rhodes squaring off with Seth Rollins for the Men’s Crown Jewel Title.
