Andrade El Idolo returns to AEW, attacks former World Champion

Andrade El Idolo has made his return to AEW after being released by WWE last month, and immediately made an impact by attacking Kenny Omega on last night’s episode of Dynamite, whilst Omega was finishing an in-ring promo following his trios match win. This is Andrade’s second stint with AEW, having joined the promotion in 2021 and leaving in 2023.

AEW World Title Match Made Official For WrestleDream

In other Dynamite news, an AEW World Title match was made official for the upcoming WrestleDream pay-per-view as champion “Hangman” Adam Page and Samoa Joe came to blows despite having just won a trios tag team match together. The pair brawled after the match due to Page dropping Joe’s Trios Title belt whilst trying to hand it to him following their tag match win, a move Joe thought was a slight to him and took offence, leading to the altercation.

Positive Injury Update On WWE’s Jade Cargill

After Jade Cargill suffered a nasty cut to her forehead on last week’s episode of SmackDown, an update has been provided on her status, and it is positive, as she only required stitches to close the wound and will not require any plastic surgery. The report also stated that Cargill could be cleared to compete again in just a few weeks, and she will likely not be pulled from travelling on the road whilst she recovers.

Ahmed Johnson Okay After Collision With Drunk Driver

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson was involved in a car crash with a drunk driver earlier this week, and images of the wreck have been shared online, where the back of Johnson’s car is completely destroyed. Despite the severity of the damage, Johnson updated fans to let them know he is doing well.
