Evening Daily News Update

By Garth Holmberg on 17 September 2025

Good evening, doomers! It’s Wednesday and that means it’s DY-NO-MITE, and a very special 3-hour edition as it’s a September to Remember (results may vary). We’ve got a bunch of Eliminator Qualifier matches, Bobby Lashley squashing Toa Liona, FTR going F2F with Cope-n-Cage, Hangman and Fletcher sign their contract, Riho gets a tune-up with the Renegade… Twin Sister #2, and Timeless Toni Storm will cut a Vince Russo innuendo promo about how much her vag gets wet or some other dumb shit that people would hate if WWE produced it. Oh, and Mox gets to beat Roderick Strong after 17-minutes of epic battle. Super-hardcore fans of WWE can look forward to Evolve, available on Tubi.

Niz has a detailed recap of last night’s NXT Homecoming featuring stars of NXT’s past sprinkled throughout the night for the special occasion. Jabroniville’s DREAM MATCHES covers everything from the February 18th, 1991 episode of Prime-Time, during their “studio audience” era that seemed like Vince’s random attempt to revive TNT. Logan’s World Was Watching brings us the May 24th, 1994 episode of Raw, where Owen Hart takes on Earthquake in a KOTR Qualifying Match (CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

Nick Khan Says Italy Will Host a WWE PLE in 2026
It’s nice to see the place of my ancestors getting the respect they deserve in the form of overpaying for a bunch of mid-card matches that we’ll all forget about in less than 72 hours.

Premiere Date Set for Braun Strowman’s TV Series “Everything on the Menu”
The show is set to debut on October 24th with back-to-back episodes immediately after WWE Smackdown. Maybe they can bring Braun back for another run while we’re at it.

YouTube Spotlight: Story of Randy Orton After Evolution (2004-05)
Randy Orton was on top of the world after becoming the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history at SummerSlam 2004. But everything changed the next night. Watch Orton’s rivalries with Evolution and The Undertaker, culminating at SummerSlam 2005.

As always, enjoy yourselves, keep it clean, and come out dooming! – GH #FireDaboll #RussIsCooked
