Happy Thursday to you all, and I hope you’re all ready for another round of Morning Daily News! And in case you’ve missed what’s been happening on the blog, don’t worry, I will let you know right now what’s been going on since yesterday! First up, you’ve got Niz’s latest review of NXT, then we have Phrederic’s review of Dream Star Fighting Marigold from August 2nd, LScisco’s newest WTWWW for Raw from April 11, 1994, Sonic Reducer’s newest review of WWE Evolve, and finally, Megabucks has posted a new edition of Tooned In!
Roman Reigns Advertised For August 18 WWE RAW
Despite reports stating that Roman Reigns would be taking time away from WWE after SummerSlam to film the upcoming Street Fighter movie, the former WWE Champion has been advertised to appear on the August 18 episode of Raw in Philadelphia. On Monday’s episode of Raw, Reigns was attacked viciously by Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, before Reed then stole his trainers, which many believed was WWE’s way of writing Reigns off of TV for when he goes to Australia to start filming for Street Fighter.
Austin Theory Removed From WWE’s Internal Active Roster
After Grayson Waller confirmed that he and Austin Theory’s tag team, A-Town Down Under, had broken up, it has now been reported that Theory has been removed from WWE’s internal active roster. It is unknown why Theory was removed from the roster at this time, but he was written off TV recently with a storyline injury.
Mercedes Mone To Defend TBS Championship At AEW Forbidden Door
Mercedes Mone will put her TBS Title on the line at AEW Forbidden Door against Alex Windsor after Windsor won a four-way match to determine the number one contender for the title last night on Dynamite. Following Windsor’s win, Mone came down to the ring and Athena took out Toni Storm, who was in Windsor’s corner for the match, and Mone hit Windsor with a backstabber to leave both women lying in the middle of the ring.
AEW Reveals Three Matches For Collision
In other AEW news, three matches for this Saturday’s Collision have been revealed as AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page will team up with JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey to take on LFI’s Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos. Also announced for the show is TNT Champion Kyle Flethcher defending his newly won title against Tomohiro Ishii, and the team of Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, and Tay Melo will face off against the trio of Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue.
