That’s another Monday done and dusted, and we’re back again for another Tuesday Morning Daily News Update! Women’s World Title Match & More Booked For 8/11 WWE RAW

A WWE Women’s World Championship has been set for next week’s episode of Raw as Naomi defends against IYO SKY. Also set for next week’s Raw is Sami Zayn going head-to-head against Rusev following their backstage confrontation this week. And next week, we will also see Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri.

Update On Gunther’s WWE SummerSlam Injury Given On Raw

WWE has provided an update on Gunther’s injury, which he seemingly suffered at SummerSlam, with Michael Cole announcing on last night’s Raw that The Ring General suffered a hematoma and an orbital blowout fracture during his match against CM Punk. However, Dave Meltzer reported that Gunther was already dealing with an injury prior to the match, and the SummerSlam injury was a complete work with fake blood and all that was used to write him off TV so he could take time to recover from his legitimate injury.

Vince McMahon, WWE Stars Interviewed For Fox’s ‘The Real Hulk Hogan’ Documentary

A Hulk Hogan documentary is set to air on Fox next week following the death of the WWE Hall of Famer at 71 on July 24. The documentary is being produced by TMZ, and they announced that it will feature interviews from various wrestling stars and celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone. Another notable name TMZ mentioned in the interview list is Vince McMahon. This interview will be the first comments that McMahon has made on video since the Janel Grant sexual misconduct allegations and his resignation from TKO in January 2024.

Third El Grande Americano Debuts On Raw

After last week’s episode of Raw saw two El Grande Americanos appear to assist Judgment Day in picking up the win in their tag match against the LWO, this week, there were three Americanos! Dominik Mysterio faced off against Dragon Lee in singles action, and as Lee was about to get the win, the two Americanos from last week appeared to interfere in the match but were quickly dispatched by Lee. However, after Lee had dealt with the two Americanos, a third one appeared and delivered a cheap shot to Lee to allow Mysterio to pick up the win.
