Good evening, Doomers! I’m not the most “TGIF” person in the world (mostly because my work schedule doesn’t guarantee weekends off, though it’s true the majority of the time), but THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY. We’ve got SummerSlam Weekend, but first, we’ve got to get through another episode of Smackdown. John Cena and Cody Rhodes are scheduled to appear, as is Jelly Roll. If you’re looking for some high-quality in-ring action… I don’t know. Giulia defends the US Title against Bonzai’s Delinquent Client, Damien Priest faces Aleister Black, and the AAA Tag Team Champions Los Garza have an open challenge.

Thursday was another loaded night for wrestling content, and if you missed out, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Niz tackles AEW Collision (featuring Kyle Fletcher stabbing Dustin Rhodes to win the TNT Title), Saherrin has TNA Impact (featuring… uh… the Nemeth brothers), and yours truly took the easiest assignment in tracking ROH TV (it was a good episode! I SWEAR!). We’ve also got the latest on WWE Evolve from Sonic, Mike reviews SummerSlam 97 HART AND SOUL, Tomas brings Part 3 in rebooking the Nexus, and finally, Scisco’s What the World Was Watching (April 9th, 1994 Superstars!).

Aleister Black Strikes Back
The WWE Superstar shuts down rumors that he was unhappy in AEW. If anything, it was like Homer in the Land of Chocolate. PURE HEAVEN.

Cody Rhodes is Grateful
The Grandson of a Plumber and former WWE Undisputed Champion continues making media rounds, talking about the negatives surrounding his departure from AEW, but he’s happy to be part of the biggest game in town. AEW fans revolt.

Ahead of SummerSlam 1994, WWE enlists Leslie Nielsen, star of “The Naked Gun” films, to find the real Undertaker. See the shenanigans during his investigation!
