Drew McIntyre Denied Flight Back To The United States, Will Potentially Miss SummerSlam
Drew McIntyre posted to social media last night letting fans know he could potentially miss his upcoming SummerSlam match due to the fact that he was denied a flight back to the United States after attending a friend’s wedding in England. McIntyre said that he was denied a flight back to the country he has lived in for a number of years now, and an update provided revealed it was because he forgot to bring his U.S passport, and only brought his UK passport.
Chad Gable Reveals Injury That’s Kept Him Out Of Action
Chad Gable has revealed the nature of his shoulder injury that has him on the injury bench. Gable was interviewed while attending a Minnesota Twins game yesterday and told the interviewer that he is suffering from a torn rotator cuff, but that he is taking the injury well, as it has given him more time to be home with family and to do things like attending the baseball game.
WWE Reportedly Has No Interest In Bringing Back Alberto Del Rio
It has been reported that WWE isn’t planning on bringing back Alberto Del Rio despite him recently leaving AAA. Del Rio (or El Patron as he goes by these days) wrestled a match on Friday in Mexico City against El Mesias where if he lost he would have to leave AAA and he did in fact lose. This led many to believe he was WWE bound, however, sources withing WWE that spoke to Fightful Select said that they had no interest in bringing Del Rio back to the company, and if they were he would already be there.
Chelsea Green Leaves Social Media Amidst Backlash Over Hulk Hogan Comments
Chelsea Green has taken a step back from social media due to backlash over tweets she made regarding the death of Hulk Hogan. Green stated in her tweets that despite Hogan’s polarising political views and his history of racist remarks that she still viewed the late WWE Hall of Famer as industry icon. Green then took to Twitter following SmackDown and said that due to being the victim of name calling and receiving death threats, she will be leaving the platform for now.
