Evening Daily News Update

From the pages of the BOD Magazine, here’s UPDATE…
Good evening, Doomers! It’s Monday, and we’re on the final stretch on the Road to SummerSlam (both nights), so it will be interesting to see what Monday Night Raw produces to drum up any last-minute interest (and maybe push a few more tickets). We have Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Gunther all scheduled to make an appearance, as well as the Judgment Day defending the Raw Tag Team Titles against Cruz del Toro and Jaoquin Wilde of the LWO, an ALL-STAR 8-WOMEN TAG featuring Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Stephanie Vaquer, and Nikki Bella taking on Naomi, Chelsea Green, and her Secret HERvice. Lastly, Jey Uso is set for competition against the big, bad, Bronson Reed. I have no interest in any of the LWO geeks, but that looks like a promising lineup.
Jabroniville’s latest JOSHI SPOTLIGHT covers Carnival ARSION 2000, Alex’s 5-Star Book Reviewsreaches Part 1 for Mitsuharu Misawa’s book, Scisco’s What the World Was Watching focuses on the April 3rd, 1994 Challenge, Tomas has Part 2 of Rebooking the Nexus, and Rock Star Gary’s trip down memory lane with World Class details the happenings on the March 12th, 1988 episode. Kat should be by later tonight breaking down Monday Night Raw.
The Miz wants to replace The McIntyre
With Drew’s (alleged) passport issues restricting his ability to travel, the Miz has stepped to the plate as a name to take his spot in SummerSlam’s mega tag team event that is scheduled to be McIntyre teaming with Paul Logan to take on the Rolly Jelly and Randy Orton.
Thunder Rosa Taking Time Off
The AEW/ROH Star recently made a video appearance talking about the work she’s put in and is getting much deserved rest following her unsuccessful challenge of Athena’s ROH Women’s Title at Supercard of Honor.
YouTube Spotlight: SummerSlam Pre-Show Matches!
The action doesn’t wait for SummerSlam to go live! Check out this compilation of exciting SummerSlam Pre-Show matches, including The New Day vs. The Usos, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. Yokozuna, a 15-Diva Battle Royal and much more! (That Usos/New Day match is a real banger and worth checking out if nothing else. It also opens the compilation, so there you go).
The Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place yesterday, with Ichiro Suzuki, C.C. Sabathia, Billy Wagner, Dave Parker (RIP), and Dick Allen (RIP) enshrined. Some deserving the honors sooner than they did, but that’s an argument for a different day. The Trade Deadline is looming, and it’ll be interesting to see who overpays more for an expiring rental, the Yankees or the Mets. Also, FIRE AARON BOONE.
You know the drill… enjoy yourselves, keep it clean, and come out dooming! – GH
